Personal Development Programmes

A range of four personal development programmes to prepare learners for life and work.

The Me Unlimited Programmes supports learners to manage their important educational transitions and the changes, choices, emotions and decisions that accompany them.

They will learn how to become independent learners and thinkers who will know how to take responsibility for their own actions; and become suitably qualified and skilled to seamlessly join the world of work.

By developing self awareness and knowledge of team work and the world of work learners will be empowered to make important life and career choices from a position of knowledge and strength. They will learn about who they are, what they are going to do and what they want to achieve.

Learners will develop the skills, confidence and self belief to set aspirational life, career and education goals and learn how to take responsibility for planning and achieving a happy and fulfilling personal and working life. 

Unemployed and adults in career transition and redundancy situations will benefit from these programmes.

The Me Unlimited Programmes

Programme 1 - Me and My Life

A self discovery programme supporting learners to know who they are and what they aspire to in life. This is complimentary to the range of Spectra Purple learning sessions.

This programme:

• Is the foundation for the other three programmes
• Builds self belief, esteem and confidence
• Raises aspirations
• Develops self awareness
• Develops self management skills
• Empowers learners to start taking responsibility for themselves and their own happiness
• Develops thinking and problem solving skills
• Is supported by our unique self awareness toolkit and workbook.

Programme 2 - Me and My Future

A career planning programme supporting learners to plan their education and work in context to their personal interests, aspirations and talents. This is complimentary to the range of Spectra Blue learning sessions.

This programme:

• Builds on programme one
• Empowers learners to make considered career choices and decisions
• Equips learners to plan their  education in context to career and life goals
• Supports personalised learning
• Improves motivation, drive and commitment
• Puts the learner in the centre
• Develops career planning and job seeking skills

Programme 3 - Me and Working With Others

A teamwork and social skills programme supporting learners to understand how to work with others in life and work situations. This is complimentary to the full range of Spectra Orange learning sessions.

This programme:

• Builds self confidence in team and group situations

Programme 4 - Me and the World of Work

An enterprise programme that supports learners to understand how businesses work.

The programme:

1. Builds on programmes one, two and three
2. Develops basic enterprise skills
3. Develops entrepreneurship
4. Offers an awareness of how businesses operate
5. Covers the basics of setting up a business and the business functions
6. Equips learners to know  how to take a business idea from concept to market
7. Develops business planning skills
8. Improves understanding of how organisations are structured
